This innovative performance explores the social themes of Icarus's story, inviting audiences to question conventional narratives and imagine an alternative fate for the legendary figure.

Through a seamless fusion of digital and physical realms, ICARUS reflects on modern societal pressures, the pursuit of the impossible, and the consequences of ambition. poem of rua

Interactive Audiovisual Dance Performance

Beyond the form and materiality. Two bodies in unbroken motion, moving simultaneously through a continuously shifting landscape.

Poem of Rua is a multidisciplinary performance that combines two distinctive cultural movement identities. It seamlessly combines contemporary and Eastern dance styles, along with real-time interactive projections that use a motion capture system. The performance is enhanced by ambient and electronic music that has a cinematic touch.

A relationship forms between the performers, garments, movement and interactive projections as all come together to create a visual synergy. The performers are concealed by the costumes, which have become an extension of their original form and movement, hiding their true identity. A harmonious balance is created where two opposite cultures, bodies and languages meet, spiraling in a poetic duet.

LUMORA

IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION performance

LUMORA – inspired by the Latin root “lumen” (light) – is a performance that merges media art and dance in a visually arresting collaboration. Dancers are confined within an illuminated cube, representing the fragmented mental state of a character whose dark, introverted, and impulsive thoughts are portrayed by the group.
Their concealed faces symbolize a lack of identity and emotional withdrawal, reflecting the character’s retreat from existence and the outside world. LUMORA explores the interplay of light and shadow, presence and absence, and the complexities of the human psyche through haunting visuals and evocative movement.
